1. Introduction

These Terms of Service govern your use of the NIF Portugal website and the related services offered by us. By using the website or purchasing a service, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. The service

We assist non-residents of Portugal in obtaining a Portuguese tax identification number (NIF) by acting as their tax representative for the application process with the Portuguese tax authority. The service is delivered digitally through a customer dashboard.

3. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for providing accurate personal information and valid supporting documents (a scanned passport and a recent proof of address). You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.

4. Fees and payment

Service fees are shown on the pricing page and are stated in Euros. Payment is required before we begin the application. Government fees and translation costs are included unless otherwise stated at checkout.

5. Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. If we cannot obtain your NIF for a reason attributable to us, you are entitled to a full refund of the service fee.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid for the service. We are not liable for delays caused by third parties, including the Portuguese tax authority.

7. Data protection

Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to customers with active orders by email. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
